Everyone says — “Find your fire.”
Be bold. Be fierce. Burn bright.
But I’ve learnt that not every power comes from fire.
Sometimes your strength lies in the calm of water, the patience of earth, the curiosity of air, or the quiet vastness of ether.
Every element within us carries its own rhythm — its own story.
🔥 Fire
Fire is passion, purpose, movement.
It gives light, warmth, and courage.
But too much of it?
It burns.
It turns our drive into exhaustion, our clarity into anger.
It’s beautiful when it fuels creation —
and dangerous when it forgets when to stop.
💧 Water
Water flows, soothes, heals.
It’s the softness that connects us to feeling.
But it can also drown us — in emotions we don’t know how to contain, in memories we refuse to let go of.
Balance your waters — feel, but don’t flood.
🌱 Earth
Earth roots us.
It teaches patience, care, and structure.
It’s where rituals are born — slow, intentional, grounded.
But if you hold too tightly, you forget to grow.
Stability without flexibility becomes stagnation.
🌬️ Air
Air is imagination — our ideas, our words, our dreams.
It moves freely, creating space for new beginnings. But when it moves too fast, we lose our grounding.
We become restless, distracted, everywhere and nowhere.
✨ Ether (Aakash)
Ether is everything and nothing — the space between breaths, the silence between thoughts.
It’s our spirit, our creative intuition.
But even ether can pull us too far away — when we float too much in dreams, and forget the touch of the real.
Each element has its own magic, but also its warning whisper.
When one overpowers the others, we lose balance.
When they dance together — we find peace.
Maybe stepping into your power doesn’t mean becoming more fire or more air.
Maybe it means learning when to rise, when to flow, when to root, when to breathe, and when to simply be.
Because true power isn’t in dominance — it’s in balance.
So today’s ritual:
Light a diya for your fire, touch the soil for your earth, pour yourself a glass of water,
take one deep breath for your air,
and sit still for a moment — in your own ether.
You already hold all the elements within you.
You just need to remember how to dance with them. 🪷
