A woman in cotton saree with sneakers, sipping chai, laughing while painting.
Rooted in Gujarati warmth, speaking in Hinglish rhythm, always mixing rituals with a pinch of mischief.
That is the spirit of this studio.

What NUR means?
NUR means Light.
For me, it also means:
NIDHI's UNTAMED ROOTS - my raw personal connection to where I come from.
NIDHI's UNSPOKEN RITUALS - the quiet practices that keep me grounded.
Every offering at NUR is born from this thought:
that art should not just hang on the walls - it should live in our everyday.
It should be something you eat, light, plant, breathe in, or simply share over chai.

A One-Woman Ritual Studio
NUR ARTISTREE is a women-led, one woman studio.
I run it from my little studio house in Goa, where every candle is poured by my hands, every jar or sprouts is grown with care, and every artwork is painted with my own Brush.
It is messy, colourful, and deeply personal.
Sometimes, I am the teacher, sometimes the grower, sometimes the photographer, sometimes the storyteller -- But always, its me!
The NUR Community
But NUR is not just about me.
It is also about the community we build together.
Through our WhatsApp circle and weekly blogs, I share reflections, sprout reciepes, sukoon rituals, and wellness tips.
Offline, we meet through pop-ups, reseidencies, and workshops -- from Goa's beaches to Ahmedabad's Studios.
NUR is about reminding each other that life can be slower, but never boring.
Why I created Nur?
The Beginning
My name is Nidhi Doshi. I am a filmmaker by training, an artist by love, and a storyteller by instinct.
In 2021, I started my first little studio in Petlad. It was called "The Bee-Elixir".
Those years were strange - post COVID, the world was trying to heal. And in that quiet time, I found comfort in small acts: Painting, Teaching, Growing, and Making things with my hands. Slowly, those little rituals became workshops, Products, and experiences for people around me.
By 2025, my journey had moved to GOA -- and with it, my studio took a new name: NUR ARTISTREE (Nidhi's Untamed Roots)
